Stay Tuned

EDIT:: PLEASE READ BELOW

Hey everyone,
just posting a quick note to say that this week's challenge will be late - due to the fact that everyone here is exhausted from the Beads of Courage Colour Run that happened on Sunday.

i hope to have a challenge up and running for you all by tuesday morning!

Thanks!
Love Laura

I'm writing this from my kitchen at 11:19 pm on Monday night.  I'm so sorry, but i don't think that this week's challenge is going to happen, and i feel pretty lousy about that.  I really appreciate that you take the time to come and visit and read about my family and see the week's new challenge, so i hate to let you down, but everything is happening right now.

The colour run on sunday (Super successful by the way, i can't wait to tell you all about it) and now artoo starting to get sick, and also me starting to get sick and me having to make an emergency trip to the dentist (which turned out to be nothing) my boys had piano lessons after school and then Chewie had his dance recital dress rehearsal tonight too.

I had planned to write the challenge after everyone was in bed, but instead i ended up fighting with my computer, writing a post and losing it all, and having to restart everything and at this point i'm just going to give up and put on my warm jammies and crawl into bed.

SO let's call this week a lost cause and all reconvene next monday morning shall we?

thanks everyone!!

Love Laura

  2. No worries Laura. If you don't deserve a rest, I don't know who does. So take a rest and relax today as much as possible. See you tomorrow!

  6. I propse a challenge......Give a gift of Zentangle to the Diva. Create a tile that you would give as a gift to Laura for all she does for all. The only guideline would be it needs to be a connection between you and the typicall challenges and or your connection with with Laura... Anyone up for it?

  11. Take care, Laura! I'm so glad the Colour Run went well on Sunday, and I'm glad you took a step back and realized that it's okay if there's not an official Diva Challenge this week. I'm sure we can all find ways to keep busy. ;-) Maybe organize the tiles we've made for previous challenges, or complete a tile that we haven't finished yet. I like Melinda's Reame's idea as well.
    Rest up! You've earned it. And I hope that the sickness that you and Artoo feel coming on just resolves without developing any further.

  31. So Laura, You DO REALIZE don't you that when the oxygen mask deploys on the plane, you MUST take it for YOURSELF so that you'll be of use (and alive) for those you love. Rip down the oxygen mask, take a breather, and come back next week (please). We'll survive!

  33. From a fan, a beginner getting the courage to participate: I believe in what Betsy said, Take care of yourself first, you needed a break. We can all keep tangling, & when you have a moment in your wonderful life,you will give us a challenge, to keep us motivated to keep tangling in different , creative ways. Thank you for taking time from your life to teach us so many things. Zentangling is just one facet of the gem that you are & what you share.
